Mercedes E-Class with Chauffeur in Paris

Mercedes E-Class  ·  E 220 d · E 300 de plug-in hybrid

The sedan the House runs most often: quiet, discreet and comfortable for 3, with the larger boot of our two Executive Sedans and the same standard on every journey.

The car

The corporate sedan of the House

The Executive Sedan category is operated in two sedans, and this page is about the first of them. The Mercedes E-Class carries 3 passengers, 2 large suitcases and 2 cabin bags, and it is the car the House assigns to its corporate accounts. Ask for it when you enquire and we will hold it for your journey.

Mercedes E-Class (E 220 d · E 300 de)

A sedan built for people who work while they travel. The E 220 d pairs a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine of 197 hp with a 48-volt starter-generator that adds 23 hp, through a nine-speed 9G-TRONIC automatic gearbox, and covers more than 800 km on a full tank. The E-Class is also operated as an E 300 de, a diesel plug-in hybrid of around 326 hp combined that covers 101 to 114 km on electric power alone (WLTP): ask for it by name when you enquire. Air suspension, thorough sound insulation and a Burmester 3D surround sound system complete it. Quiet at motorway speed and comfortable for 3, it is the vehicle most often booked for airport runs, for daily corporate travel and for the journeys that do not need to announce themselves.

No car stays in the fleet beyond 4 years. Every vehicle is replaced on a 4-year cycle, which is why the E-Class that collects you is a current model, with current equipment, and not a sedan that has been in service for a decade.

Would you rather travel in the other car of the category? See the Mercedes EQE, fully electric, or the Executive Sedan category.

Choosing well

Is this the right car for you?

Choosing a vehicle is rarely a question of the badge on the bonnet. It is a question of who travels, what they carry, and what the day asks of them. Here is who the E-Class is for.

You travel alone, or as two, and often

This is the car for a routine that repeats. Daily office runs, a standing airport transfer, a week of client meetings. It is the vehicle the House assigns to its corporate accounts, because a schedule that repeats asks for a car that never varies.

Your luggage is a sedan’s luggage

2 large suitcases and 2 cabin bags, which is 1 cabin bag more than the Luxury Sedan and the EQE take. If the boot is your main constraint, the answer is the Executive Van or the Luxury SUV.

You want discretion above all

A black E-Class is the least conspicuous car in Paris. It arrives at a hotel, a bank or a private residence without drawing a single glance, which is exactly what some journeys require.

Consider another vehicle if

We would rather tell you now than on the morning itself.

You would rather travel fully electric, with zero emissions at the exhaust (on request and subject to availability).

Luggage

What actually fits in the boot

Luggage is the single most common surprise on the day of travel. Numbers on a website are easy to write and hard to live with, so here is what this car carries, stated plainly. By a large suitcase we mean the hold format, up to 75 cm; by a small one, the cabin format. Both travel in the boot.

3 passengers with 3 large suitcases will not travel comfortably in this car. If that is your party, the Executive Van is the better answer, or a second vehicle. We will say so when you enquire, before you book, rather than at the kerb.

Travelling with skis, golf bags, instruments or trade-show material? A Cargo Van can follow your vehicle and carry the overflow. See the Cargo Van.

2 large suitcases, hold format, up to 75 cm  ·  2 small suitcases, cabin format

These figures are for the E 220 d. On the E 300 de, the battery reduces the boot to around 370 litres: if luggage matters most, ask for the E 220 d. Soft bags, briefcases and coats travel with you in the rear, beside your seat. With 2 passengers, the centre rear seat takes a garment bag comfortably.

Every rate includes your chauffeur for the whole of the service, fuel, tolls and parking, onboard Wi-Fi and still water, full insurance and a licensed vehicle. At the airports, 60 minutes of waiting are included, counted from the moment the aircraft lands rather than from the scheduled arrival time, which is what matters when a flight is late. At every other pickup, 15 minutes are included.

Rates are in euros. They are a point of departure, not a quotation: the final figure depends on the date, the hour, the exact addresses and the duration of the service. Journeys beyond the Paris ring road are charged per kilometre in addition. A written quotation is always issued, and agreed, before a booking is confirmed.

We do not offer discounts. Our rates are the same for everyone on the same service.

Questions

Before you book

How many passengers and suitcases does the Mercedes E-Class take?
The Mercedes E-Class carries up to 3 passengers, excluding the chauffeur, with 2 large suitcases and 2 cabin bags. 2 passengers travel most comfortably. For 4 or more, the Executive Van (Mercedes V-Class XL) is the appropriate vehicle.
Can I be sure of the E-Class rather than the EQE?
Yes, if you ask for it. The Mercedes E-Class and the fully electric Mercedes EQE share the Executive Sedan category, the same rates and the same standard of preparation and service. State the E-Class when you enquire and we will reserve it for your journey. The model is confirmed to you in writing with your booking.
Is the E-Class suitable for an airport transfer with luggage?
Yes, and it is the vehicle most often chosen for it. 2 large suitcases and 2 cabin bags fit. At Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Orly and Le Bourget your chauffeur meets you inside the terminal, with a sign bearing your name, and 60 minutes of waiting are included from the moment the aircraft lands.
What is the difference between the E-Class and the EQE?
Both are sedans in the Executive Sedan category, with 3 seats, 2 large suitcases and the same service. The E-Class, an E 220 d with electric assistance, has the larger boot, 540 litres against 430, with room for a second cabin bag, and more than 800 km on a full tank for the longest journeys. The EQE is fully electric, the calmer of the two, with zero emissions at the exhaust. The choice is a matter of preference.
Is the E-Class available as a plug-in hybrid?
Yes. The E-Class is operated as an E 220 d, a diesel with 48-volt assistance, and as an E 300 de, a diesel plug-in hybrid of around 326 hp combined that covers 101 to 114 km on electric power alone (WLTP). Ask for the E 300 de by name when you enquire, and the version is confirmed to you with the booking. Its battery reduces the boot to around 370 litres, so for heavy luggage the E 220 d is the better choice.
How long will the chauffeur wait for me?
At Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Orly and Le Bourget, 60 minutes of waiting are included, and they run from the moment the aircraft touches down, not from the arrival time printed on your ticket. A delayed flight therefore costs you nothing. At any other pickup, in the city or elsewhere, 15 minutes are included. Beyond that, waiting is charged at the hourly rate of the vehicle and is always confirmed with you before it applies.
Is the price fixed in advance?
Yes. A written quotation is issued before any booking is confirmed, and the figure agreed is the figure invoiced. Fuel, tolls and parking are included. Only a change you request on the day, such as an added stop or an extended duration, alters the amount, and it is confirmed with you before it applies.
Can I keep the Mercedes E-Class for a full day in Paris?
Yes. A vehicle at your disposal is booked for a minimum of 4 hours, with 20 kilometres included per hour, and the chauffeur remains with you throughout. A full day of 8 hours starts at €1,000 inclusive of VAT. It is the usual arrangement for a day of meetings, a roadshow, or a family visiting the city.
Can the Mercedes E-Class travel outside Paris?
Yes, anywhere in France and beyond. Journeys outside Paris are charged on the transfer rate plus a per-kilometre rate for the distance beyond the ring road, tolls and parking included. Reims, the Loire châteaux, Deauville, Normandy and Brussels are regular destinations. Long journeys may involve a meal allowance or an overnight allowance for the chauffeur, both stated in the quotation.
