Definition

What a cookie is, in plain language.

A cookie is a small file placed on your computer, tablet or telephone when you consult a website. It allows the site to recognise your browser from one page to the next, to keep a form from resetting, to remember that you have already answered a question, or to count a visit without needing to know who you are.

Other technologies serve comparable purposes and are covered by this policy in the same way. Wherever the word cookie appears below, it also refers to pixels and tracking tags placed inside a page, to identifiers stored by your browser in local storage, and to the measurement tools embedded in the content we display, such as a video player or a map.

A cookie does not read the other files on your device, does not give access to your camera or your microphone, and does not, on its own, reveal your name. What it does is give continuity to a visit, and that continuity is either necessary, useful, or subject to your agreement.

Purpose

Why a chauffeur House uses cookies at all.

Most of our clients arrive on this website with a precise question in mind. An arrival at Le Bourget with a short connection. A day at disposal between three meetings. A group of nineteen travelling to Champagne. The purpose of our cookies is to let that question reach us intact, and to let us see, in aggregate, where our pages answer it well and where they do not.

  • Keeping a quotation request complete when a page is reloaded or a connection drops in a terminal.
  • Protecting the website and its forms against automated abuse.
  • Remembering your language, your region and the consent choices you have already expressed.
  • Understanding, in aggregate and never individually, which journeys and destinations are consulted, and which explanations are still missing.
  • Measuring whether our communication reaches the audiences we address, in France and abroad.

We do not use cookies to profile a passenger, to attach browsing history to a booking file, or to observe what a client does once the journey has begun. The confidentiality of what happens on board is a rule of the House, and it is described in our Privacy Policy.

Categories

Four categories, and what each one means for you.

Always active

Strictly necessary

Security of the site, integrity of the quotation and contact forms, distribution of traffic between servers, and the record of the consent choices you have made.

If you decline: not possible. Without these, the pages and the forms could not be delivered to you.

Session to 6 months
Only with your consent

Functional

Memory of your language and region, display preferences, and the content we embed from other services, such as a map or a video sequence.

If you decline: embedded maps and videos will not load, and your preferences are set again at each visit.

Up to 13 months
Only with your consent

Audience measurement

Counting visits, understanding which pages are consulted and in which order, and identifying where a reader stops before making a request.

If you decline: the site behaves exactly as before. Your visit is simply not counted in our statistics.

Up to 13 months
Only with your consent

Marketing

Measuring the effect of our campaigns, limiting how often the same message is shown, and adapting our communications to the markets we address.

If you decline: you may still encounter our advertising, but it is not adapted to your interests.

Up to 13 months

Only the first category is placed automatically, because the website cannot be delivered without it. The three others wait for your agreement, and each can be accepted or refused independently of the others.

Our craft

Measurement placed at the service of the chauffeured journey.

DBS EXPERIENCE has arranged more than 25,000 chauffeured journeys since 2009, for private clients, corporate travel departments, family offices, luxury travel agencies and the concierge desks of Parisian palaces. That experience is what our website attempts to make legible, and what our measurement tools help us verify.

The questions we ask of our statistics are operational rather than commercial. Does our airport arrivals page explain clearly enough that we wait sixty minutes at a terminal? Do our excursion pages say enough about luggage before a full day towards the Loire or Champagne? Is a request form still comprehensible on a telephone, at the end of a flight, in a language that is not one's own? Each answer changes a page, and eventually changes a journey.

  • Airport and private aviation transfers, including Le Bourget.
  • Chauffeur at your disposal, roadshows and multi day itineraries.
  • VIP arrival assistance and coordination inside the terminals.
  • Groups and delegations, from a sedan to a twenty eight seat coach.
  • Private excursions from Paris, in France and beyond.

Our approach is client centric. A statistic is only worth the improvement it produces for the person who will be collected tomorrow morning.

Clearbit tagClearbitRecognises the organisation a visit originates from, based on the network address. Places no file on your deviceMarketingNo storageThird party

First party means a cookie or an identifier placed by dbsexperience.com. Third party means one placed by a service we have chosen to use. Retention indicates the maximum life of the file on your device, not the period during which the resulting information is kept. Certain services store their identifier in your browser rather than in a cookie. The distinction changes nothing for you, and this policy treats both in the same way.

How this list is kept accurate

This inventory was verified on 3 August 2026 against the tags actually loaded by this website, and it is reviewed at every technical change. The retention periods are those documented by each service. Should you observe on your device a file that does not appear here, we would be grateful if you would tell us, and we will correct this page.

Two tools, stated plainly

Session recording and company recognition.

Two of the services above do more than count a page, and we would rather describe them ourselves than let you discover them.

Anonymous session recording

Microsoft Clarity records how a page is used: the movement of the cursor, the clicks, the scrolling, the moment a reader hesitates. It produces a replay of the navigation, not of the person. The tool masks the content typed into fields, and we do not use it to identify anyone. Its purpose is to see where an explanation fails, for instance whether the luggage capacity of a vehicle is found before a request is abandoned. It belongs to the audience measurement category and is loaded only after your agreement.

Recognition of the organisation

Clearbit indicates the organisation from which a visit originates, deduced from the network address, without naming any individual. For a House that works with travel departments, family offices and event agencies, this tells us which kinds of organisation consult which services. It places no file on your device, it belongs to the marketing category, and it is loaded only after your agreement.

Neither of these tools is used to observe a client during a chauffeured journey, nor to enrich a booking file. That separation is a rule of the House.

Third parties

The services we have chosen, and what each one receives.

We keep the number of external services deliberately small. Each one is listed below with the reason for its presence. Where a service belongs to a company established outside the European Union, the transfer of data is governed by the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy.

Website platform, delivery and language

Webflow, which hosts and delivers this website, and Weglot, which serves it in your language. Both are strictly necessary and active before any choice is made. Webflow Optimize, which tests different versions of a page, is confined to this website and does not follow you elsewhere.

Consent management

The consent panel is our own. It is not entrusted to an external provider, it stores your decision in a single first party cookie, and it exists in order to respect your choice. It is strictly necessary.

Live messaging

Crisp, which allows a conversation to be opened with our team and its thread to be kept from one page to the next. Functional category.

Audience measurement

Google Analytics, which counts and describes visits in aggregate, and Microsoft Clarity, which produces the anonymous session recording described above. Both are loaded only after consent has been given for the measurement category.

Advertising and professional reach

Google Ads, which attributes a request to the campaign that produced it, and Clearbit, which recognises the organisation a visit originates from. Both are loaded only after consent has been given for the marketing category.

Each of these companies publishes its own policy, and we have kept their number deliberately small. Where a service belongs to a company established outside the European Union, the transfer of data is governed by the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy.

Retention

How long a choice and a cookie remain valid.

We do not use the formula according to which cookies are kept for as long as necessary. Each period is stated, and none exceeds what the French supervisory authority regards as a sound practice.

When the six month period expires, the banner is presented again, and nothing optional is placed in the meantime unless you renew your agreement. A refusal is recorded with the same care as an acceptance, in order that you are not asked the same question at every visit. And when you withdraw an agreement already given, our panel does not merely stop the tools concerned: it erases the files they had placed.

Control

Three ways to change your mind, at any moment.

Our preference centre

The most direct route. The panel reopens with your current settings, each category can be enabled or disabled, and the change takes effect immediately. A link is also available in the footer of every page of this website.

Your browser

Every browser allows cookies to be inspected, refused or deleted. Note that deleting them also deletes the record of your decision, which is why the banner appears again on your next visit.

A signal sent by your browser

Where your browser transmits the Global Privacy Control signal, our panel reads it on arrival and records a refusal of every optional category, without displaying anything and without waiting for an action from you. You then have nothing further to do.

Your rights
Updates

When this policy changes, and how you will know.

This policy is revised whenever a tool is added to or withdrawn from the website, whenever a new feature places a cookie of its own, and whenever the applicable rules evolve. The date and the version number at the top of this page are the reference. A substantial change to the optional categories leads to your consent being requested again.

Version 1.03 Aug 2026First publication of this policy, issued together with the consent management platform deployed on the website.

Each subsequent revision will be added to this log, with its date and the nature of the change.
