Sustainability

Our approach to more responsible mobility.

Thoughtful journeys. Lasting standards.

A more responsible chauffeured journey begins long before departure. It is decided in the choice of vehicle, in the preparation of the itinerary, in the quality of maintenance, in the coordination of the day and in the attention given to details that never appear on an invoice.

Our position

Responsibility without compromise.

Sustainability is not a category of service. It is a more considered way of operating.

Private ground transport has an impact. We do not present DBS EXPERIENCE as a green company, and we do not sell a separate environmentally themed offer alongside the rest. What we do is apply to our environmental choices the discipline we apply to a collection at Le Bourget: anticipate, select with care, measure, improve, and never announce what cannot be substantiated.

Nothing in this approach alters what you are entitled to expect. A more responsible chauffeured journey is not a lesser one, and it asks nothing of you. There is no option to select, no supplement to accept, no compromise to consider.

What this approach never touches.

Safety Punctuality Comfort
Discretion Bespoke attention Quality of the vehicle
Our commitments

Four commitments, read twice.

On the left, the operational decision we take. On the right, what that decision changes for the person travelling and for the person who arranged the journey. A commitment that changes nothing for you is a commitment we would rather not publish.

Commitment · Planning

Smarter journey planning

Most of what can be improved on a chauffeured journey is decided before the engine starts.

  • Itineraries studied in advance, with alternatives prepared for the hours and districts where they will be needed.
  • Flights and trains monitored in real time, which removes long periods of waiting with the engine running.
  • Chauffeurs positioned between assignments to limit empty repositioning across the city.
  • Movements belonging to the same programme sequenced as one operation rather than as separate bookings.
  • Vehicle category chosen on the real number of passengers and pieces of luggage, never larger than the journey requires.
What it changes for you
You wait less, and so does the car.

Your collection is prepared around the actual arrival of your flight or train, not around an hour written weeks earlier.

You travel in the vehicle that suits you.

The category is decided on what you are actually carrying, which is more comfortable than a vehicle chosen by default.

A full day holds together.

Several movements in one programme are coordinated by the same team, which removes the gaps where time and distance are usually lost.

Commitment · Fleet

A carefully selected fleet

A fleet is renewed by decision, never by fashion.

  • Vehicles kept recent and serviced to the manufacturer's schedule, which keeps consumption and reliability under control.
  • Preventive maintenance rather than corrective, with any vehicle in doubt withdrawn and replaced rather than driven.
  • A part of the fleet is hybrid, assigned to the journeys where a hybrid performs properly.
  • Electrified vehicles introduced progressively, where range, charging infrastructure and the requirements of the journey allow it.
  • Tyre pressures, filters and general condition verified as part of the pre-departure routine, on every vehicle, every day.
What it changes for you
The cabin is quieter.

A well maintained vehicle, and a hybrid in city traffic, are considerably calmer places to work, read or rest.

Nothing is improvised.

A vehicle that raises a doubt does not leave. You are told, and another is prepared, before your collection time.

Capacity remains real.

We do not reduce space or luggage capacity in the name of a lower figure. The fleet is selected to carry what you travel with.

Commitment · On board

Considered details on board

The cabin is where restraint is most visible, and where excess is least necessary.

  • Single-use items reduced, and what remains selected for its quality rather than its quantity.
  • Glass bottles and reusable equipment preferred wherever hygiene standards allow.
  • Cleaning products and methods chosen with attention to what is used, and how much.
  • Quotations, confirmations, itineraries and invoices handled digitally, with printed documents produced only on request.
  • Operational waste sorted and directed through the appropriate channels rather than left to chance.
What it changes for you
The cabin is clean, calm and unostentatious.

Fewer objects, better chosen. What is on board is there because it is useful to you.

Your administration is lighter.

Confirmations and invoices arrive in a form your assistant or your finance team can file without printing anything.

Nothing is asked of you.

No box to tick, no green option to purchase. These choices belong to the House, not to your booking form.

Commitment · People

People and local expertise

The most efficient vehicle in the world is still driven by someone.

  • Professional chauffeurs trained within the House, with continuing instruction in smooth and anticipative driving.
  • A driving style built on anticipation rather than acceleration, which is better for consumption and far better for the passenger.
  • Knowledge of Paris precise enough to avoid the distance and the congestion that a map alone does not reveal.
  • Partners selected outside Paris on their standards, their conduct and their working conditions.
  • Long-term relationships with hotels, agencies and companies, rather than volume pursued for its own sake.
What it changes for you
The drive itself is smoother.

Anticipative driving is the difference between arriving composed and arriving merely on time. It is also the single most effective way to reduce consumption.

You are recognised.

Chauffeurs who remain with the House learn your preferences, which removes the need to explain them again.

Your own commitments are respected.

Hotels, agencies and companies with standards of their own are working with a supplier whose conduct will not sit awkwardly beside theirs.

For the journey

Better for the journey. Seamless for you.

None of this appears on your itinerary. It appears in the way the day unfolds.

A quieter, better maintained vehicle

Rigorous servicing and a hybrid in city traffic produce a cabin in which a call can be taken and a document can be read.

Preparation instead of improvisation

Routes, timings and alternatives are settled before the vehicle leaves, which is what makes an unremarkable journey possible.

The right vehicle, not the largest

The category is proposed on your real requirements. A vehicle that suits the journey is more comfortable and more economical at once.

One point of contact for a whole programme

A single coordinator holds the day together, which removes the repositioning and the waiting that fragmented bookings create.

Documents your teams can actually use

Consolidated statements of chauffeured journeys, issued digitally, in a form that suits a finance department or a travel manager.

A supplier aligned with your standards

Hotels, agencies and companies increasingly answer for their suppliers. Our practices are written down and available to you. See also our safety and confidentiality commitments.

Transparency

What we are working on, and what we do not claim.

A credible approach states its limits. Ours are stated here rather than left to be discovered.

What we are working on

  • Formalising and documenting the practices already applied day to day, so that they can be verified rather than described.
  • Establishing a reliable method of measurement before publishing any figure whatsoever.
  • Extending the use of hybrid vehicles to the journeys where they genuinely perform.
  • Including anticipative driving in the continuing instruction of every chauffeur.
  • Reducing the printed documents that remain in our administrative process.
  • Working with partners outside Paris who accept the same requirements as our own teams.

What we do not claim

  • We do not describe our chauffeured journeys as carbon neutral.
  • We do not describe our fleet as environmentally friendly.
  • We do not publish percentages, volumes or reductions that we cannot yet substantiate.
  • We do not present private ground transport as an activity without impact.
  • We do not sell a separate green service, and we do not invoice one.
  • We do not claim that every journey can be operated with an electrified vehicle today.

An indicator we cannot substantiate is worth less than an indicator we do not publish. Figures will appear on this page when the method behind them can be explained, dated and defended.

The road ahead

A measured journey forward.

Three horizons, each stated with a scope and a method rather than with a promise.

HorizonToday
Scope
Our own operations in Paris and Île-de-France.
Method
Formalise the practices described above, record them in our operating procedures, and define precisely what can honestly be measured with the tools at our disposal.
HorizonBy 2027
Scope
Fleet, chauffeurs and coordination.
Method
Continuing instruction in anticipative driving extended to every chauffeur, a documented vehicle renewal plan, and a first internal measurement framework covering distance, vehicle assignment and consumption.
Horizon2028 to 2030
Scope
The chauffeured journeys where service requirements allow it.
Method
Progressively increase the share of journeys operated with lower emission vehicles, in step with the development of range and of charging infrastructure in Paris and on the routes we serve.

Each horizon will be reviewed and updated on this page. Where an objective cannot be reached without affecting the quality of a chauffeured journey, it will be revised rather than announced.

In summary

Responsible luxury mobility, delivered with care.

DBS EXPERIENCE is a Parisian House of private chauffeur services, founded in 2009 at 320 rue Saint-Honoré. Its approach to sustainability is operational rather than declarative: chauffeured journeys planned to avoid unnecessary mileage, a fleet renewed and maintained with discipline and partly hybrid, restrained choices on board, digital documentation, and professional chauffeurs trained in anticipative driving. DBS EXPERIENCE makes no claim of carbon neutrality and publishes no figure it cannot substantiate.

Questions

Straight answers.

Does DBS EXPERIENCE operate electric vehicles?+

A part of our fleet is hybrid and is assigned to the journeys where a hybrid performs properly, principally within Paris and its immediate region. Fully electric vehicles are introduced progressively, where range, charging infrastructure and the requirements of the journey allow it. We do not describe our fleet as electric, and we do not accept a booking that an electrified vehicle could not honour comfortably.

How do you choose the vehicle for a chauffeured journey?+

On the real number of passengers, the real number of pieces of luggage, the distance and the nature of the journey. A vehicle larger than necessary is neither more comfortable nor more appropriate. Where a hybrid can serve the journey without compromise, it is proposed. The recommendation is always stated to you before confirmation.

How do you reduce unnecessary mileage?+

By planning. Itineraries are studied in advance, flights and trains are monitored in real time so that a vehicle is not waiting with its engine running, chauffeurs are positioned between assignments to limit empty repositioning, and movements belonging to the same programme are sequenced as a single operation rather than as separate bookings.

Can you provide information for our company's travel or environmental policy?+

Yes. We provide consolidated statements of chauffeured journeys, written answers to the environmental sections of supplier questionnaires, documentation of our licence, insurance and operating practices, and, where an emissions estimate is required, the method used together with a clear statement of its limits. If your reporting requires a specific format, we will build it with you.

Are your chauffeured journeys carbon neutral?+

No. We do not present our chauffeured journeys as carbon neutral. Our priority is to measure, reduce and document our impact before considering any complementary arrangement. We would rather state this plainly than publish a claim we could not defend.

Is there a supplement for a more responsible journey?+

No. There is no green option, no supplement and no separate service. These choices belong to the way the House operates and apply to every chauffeured journey, whichever vehicle category you select.
